That's pretty cool.We had a cleric lv 40 with gap (= 4D equipment) tanking at penons.
This is a very nice guide. I'm sure you can apply it not only to this server. Here we don't need to farm SP but on some other servers we do. If I'm a STR cleric tank and I have let's say gap 5-6 I won't have the best gear I can get. So my question is how many levels lower than mobs I can be to be a good tank?
We had a cleric lv 40 with gap 9 (= 4D equipment) tanking at penons.

2. To the warrior / lurer :
If you have the sp to skill out/ up howling shout, do it because the range increases 1m every time. I tried to use a lv 1 1H to reduce the aggro while luring with a aggro- cleric and i think it was less hard to drop the mobs to the cleric than using a same degree 1H; but i m not sure about that as it seems to me a warrior in general is a bad choice for luring with an aggro-cleric because of Vital Increase (3 x aggro ) and Protect- buff (brings aggro to the warrior ) ; + a warrior cant switch to heal itself and thats better than the better defense of Vital Increase and Skins cause a warrior has a lower range than a rogue and a chin has no pot delay. So, it is possible to lure as warrior but then take a low lv 1H and dont buff Protect i d suggest.
Even a lock/cleric buffed with PQ is probablly a better choice as lurer than a warrior just because aggro EVER is messed up while a warrior is luring and not tanking his lure then.
btw: What is the difference when the lurer is buffed with Protect ? I heard at old Venus, they used it even in 2 tank-setup to bring aggro/ mobs to the main/ tanking- warrior
However I must disagree that warrior is bad at luring. Most warriors I party with nowadays are also fine lurers.
